The Ionia County Intermediate School District’s (ICISD) Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Program addresses the very individual nature of how autism impacts each person.  Emphasis is on assisting students to participate to the fullest extent possible in the curriculum and activities of their neighborhood school.  The ICISD offers a continuum of services ranging from full participation in regular education to categorical classroom placement.

Our program focus is on developing socialization and independence skills of students with ASD so that they will have the skill set to be valued members of society after their school career.

Our mission is to provide information and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
