Everyone’s bowling!  What a fun way to start the school year!  Adaptive P.E. teacher Carol Ritcheske, organizes and coordinates bowling activities for our students with unique needs.  Cat Lanes is under new management and is now called Ionia Bowl 300.  The inside has been completely remodeled.  This includes new décor, new bowling balls, new bowling shoes and all the lanes have automatic bumpers!  Those gutter guards really help our scores and increase student success!
Depending on the class, we work on our skills, bowling “form,” getting spares and strikes, bowling etiquette, scoring, and the independent skills needed to be at the lanes on our own (paying, getting shoes, ball, a lane, etc.).  The social part of bowling is also addressed, which includes cheering and supporting our team.
