The quilt raffle is one way that you can support the library and provide books to children in their homes. There are 36 quilts that were handmade by community members and citizens interested in assuring that every child has books in their home and is read to before they go to school. The quilts were designed to be lap quilts for you and your child to cuddle up. The quilts are based on the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear and every quilt will come with a hard cover board book as well as a Play Learn and Read at Home Activity sheet to support your child’s learning and development.

Tickets for the raffle will be $5.00 per ticket or $30.00 for 10 tickets. This is approximately the same amount of money that it costs to fund a child in the program for an entire year! The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win a quilt that is sure to be treasured by your child. All of the quilts are numbered for reference in the raffle.

Quilt 1 Pieced and Quilted by Brenda Simpson, this charming quilt measures 46” wide by 63 ½ “ long. It is machine quilted with variegated thread, and backed in green print.	Quilt 2 Judy Rowley pieced and machine quilted this charming quilt. It measures 52” wide by 60“ long. The blocks are framed in various colors, with two inner borders. It is bordered and backed in Eric Carle’s matching big animal print.	Quilt 3 Sashed and bordered in a rainbow stripe, this bright quilt measures 33 1/2” wide by 41” long. It is pieced by Kathy Blundy and machine quilted by Linda Wierenga with a meandering stitch. Bound in blue, it is backed in green print.
Quilt 4 This bright quilt is pieced and Quilted by Sandy DeCarlo, and measures 53” wide by 53“ long. Sashings are blue, green and gold, with an inner border of red, and an outer border of multi-colored stripes. It is machine quilted, and bound in red, with a backing of colorful puzzle piece print.	Quilt 5 Warm and cuddly, this 43 1/2” wide by 57“ long quilt is pieced and quilted by Betty Shetterly. With an inner border of blue, and an outer border of Eric Carle’s multi-colored dots, it is backed with flannel of sheep with a blue background.	Quilt 6 This lovely pastel quilt is pieced and quilted by Nancy Steiner. It measures 38” wide by 52 “ long, and has a yellow border. It is sashed and bound with green and backed with a green print.
Quilt 7 Pieced and Quilted by Linda Wierenga, this charming quilt measures 44 1/2” wide by 61“ long. It is tied in the corners and machine quilted in the borders. It has an inner border of blue and an outer border of green with multi-colored polka-dots, and bound in green. The backing is pieced with a variety of patterned prints.	Quilt 8 Pieced and quilted by Dianne Linsley with assistance by Tyler Linsley, this quilt measures 50 1/2” wide by 63 “ long. It is machine quilted with variegated thread in a meandering stitch and backed with a solid white. It is bordered and bound in a blue print.	Quilt 9 Bordered in stripes, this quilt was pieced by Brenda Broughan, Sue Ann Cole, Shirley Linn and Pat Trumble. Deb Gould machine quilted this darling quilt which measures 48 ½” wide x 68” long. It is backed in a solid green fabric.
Quilt 10 Kim Pung pieced this quilt which measures 41” wide by 46 “ long. It is bordered in purple, gold and blue, and back in a blue and white stripe fabric and has flaps over a couple of the quilt blocks.	Quilt 11 Sashed in red and bound in blue, Kathy Blundy pieced this quilt which measures 37” wide by 46 “ long. Machine quilted by Carole Schrauben with round corners, it is backed in Eric Carle’s matching large animal print.	Quilt 12 Eleanor Williams pieced this quilt which measures 40 1/2” wide by 57 “ long. It is sashed in blue and matching fabric by Eric Carle of dots with a narrow border of green and wider outer border of stripes, it is bound in green with a back of solid green. It is machine quilted by Deb Gould.
Quilt 13 Deb Gould pieced and machine quilted this wonderful quilt which measures 42” wide by 57 1/2“ long. The blocks are framed in a variety of colors with a wide border and binding of hot pink speckled print. The backing is blue.	Quilt 14 This darling quilt measures 36” wide by 44“ long. It is pieced by Kathy Blundy and machine quilted by Linda Wierenga. The sashing is red polka-dot print and the backing is a patchwork of various prints.	Quilt 15 Carleen Kissane pieced this light weight quilt which measures 44” wide by 44“ long. It is bordered and backed in tan print with sashing of red and blue in the same pattern. It is hand-tied.
Quilt 16 Pieced and machine quilted by Mary Sue Barley, this charming quilt measures 41” wide by 58“ long. The blocks are framed in bright solids, with sashing of matching multi-colored dots. It is bound in blue and backed with large animal print material.	Quilt 17 Karen Whorley pieced and machine quilted this delightful quilt in a star patterm with large animal print. It is bound and backed in turquoise and measures 44” wide by 59“ long. With an inner border of yellow, the outer border is multi-colored dots.	Quilt 18 Sashed in blue print with bears, this cute quilt was pieced by Kathy Blundy and hand-quilted by Opal Hubble. It measures 37” wide by 45“ long with a border of stripes. It is bound in yellow and backed with a solid white.
Quilt 19 Pat Trommater pieced and machine quilted this delightful quilt. Bordered in a gold star print, it measures 41” wide by 49 1/2“ long . The blocks are placed in a twist n turn pattern framed in green, blue and red solids. It is backed with a solid white.	Quilt 20 Angie Burgess pieced and tied quilted this quilt which measures 37 1/2” wide by 57“ long . The blocks are placed with green, blue and yellow prints and backed in a matching green print.	Quilt 21 Kay Tipton pieced and quilted this delightful 36 1/2” wide x 55 1/2” long quilt in a row by row style. It is bordered in a rust colored fabric and backed in white.
Quilt 22 This cute little quilt was pieced by Kathy Blundy and hand quilted by Opal Hubble. It measures 34” wide x 40 1/2” long and is sashed in a blue print with green binding. It is backed in white.	Quilt 23 Mary Gee pieced and quilted this 49” wide x 65” long quilt. Bound in red and backed with purple batik fabric, it is sashed in batiks with an outer border of multi-colored stripes.	Quilt 24 The blocks are framed in blue, green and brown in this delightful 43” wide x 52” long quilt. Sandi Plourde pieced and machine quilted her quilt with a swirl pattern. It is sashed in multi-colored stripes, with an inner border of red and an outer border of people print. It is backed in brown minkee.
Quilt 25 Bound in yellow and backed in white, this 34” wide x 40 1/2” long quilt is pieced by Kathy Blundy. The blocks are set in a blue polka-dot fabric, and hand quilted by Opal Hubble.	Quilt 26 Saudia Petersen pieced and machine quilted this bright 40” wide x 54” long quilt. It has an inner border of green, and an outer border of multi-colored stripes. It is bound in red and backed with a striped print fabric.	Quilt 27 M. Kay Odette embellished each block of her unique quilt. It measures 40” wide x 58” long. The sashing is pastel yellow. It is hand quilted with a backing of pastel greens.
Quilt 28 Pam Keefer pieced and lightly machine quilted this quilt that has solid green sashing with a yellow border. It is bound in blue and backed in solid white fabric. It measures 39” wide x 57” long.	Quilt 29 Wanita Kampmueller framed each block in three greens with a sashing in blue. This 45” wide x 55” long quilt is tied, bound in green and backed with a white on white print.	Quilt 30 Susan Sebeck pieced and machine quilted this adorable 53” wide x 54” long quilt. The blocks are framed in solid colored material with an inner border of multi-stripe, a middle border of blue and an outer border of people fabric. It is bound in red and backed with large animal print fabric.
Quilt 31 Pieced and hand-quilted by Laurie Thelen, this charming quilt measures 41” wide by 51 ½ “ long. It is bound in blue and backed in brown , with blocks of blue, brown, orange, yellow, and green.	Quilt 32 Pieced and quilted by Carolyn Fox, this bright quilt measures 41” wide by 59” long. It is backed in orange, with sashing and binding in orange and an outer border of a red orange print fabric.	Quilt 33 Lu Dowsett pieced this lovely quilt framing the blocks in black with a matching inner border. It has a middle border of green and an outer border of Eric Carle’s people fabric. It measures 53” wide by 64 “ long. It is machine quilted by Stella Wilcox in a heart pattern, and is backed in green print.
Quilt 34 Backed in white, bordered and bound in yellow, this sweet quilt was machine pieced and hand-quilted by Opal Hubble. It measures 39” wide by 55“ long.	Quilt 35 Pieced and quilted by Evie Proulx, this charming quilt measures 40” wide by 50“ long. It is bound in yellow and backed in Eric Carle’s large animal print. It has blocks of red, blue, and yellow, with a border of Eric Carle’s print of multi-colored stripes.	Quilt 36 Lisa Klutman machine pieced and hand quilted this cute light-weight quilt. It measures 43 1/2” wide by 45“ long, with a wide border of yellow print, backed and bound in the same fabric.
