Sharing a book with your child can be one of the greatest joys for both of you! There are many, many ways to share a story with your child to get him involved and interested in the book and encourage his language development. You have seen many strategies about how to read books with children demonstrated in the playgroups. Most of these strategies are from a program called Read with Me! by Shari Robertson and Helen Davig. The purpose of the strategies is to build language and literacy in a FUN, FUN stress-free manner.
