Business Office

The Business Office advises and supports the Superintendent and Board of Education in all matters relating to district business and finance.

Primary functions include:

• Development and maintenance of comprehensive district budgets in collaboration with the Superintendent and Board of Education.

• Management and interpretation of the often complex system of school finance regulated by the State of Michigan.

• Management and prediction of trends in state funding and how they may affect the district.

The ICISD Business Office is responsible for payroll, employee benefits, district insurances, accounts payable/receivable, grant tracking and state financial reporting.  We also provide a variety of business services to several local school districts: financial management/consultation, payroll and general ledger.
