It is the mission of the Ionia ISD Human Resources Department to provide quality coordination of recruitment/hiring processes, management of leaves, classification review, benefit administration, state/federal personnel reporting, and compliance and labor relations.

The Ionia ISD Human Resource Department provides a full range of employment-related services to district administrators and 300+ Ionia ISD employees.

The department continues to coordinate processes for local districts to work with providers of substitute employee services and day-to-day technical assistance to local districts and superintendents.
